Einbecker Brauhaus AG
As early as 1851, beer was filled for the first time in Einbeck in the “Original Einbeck Bottle”; today it is known as a landmark of the Einbecker Brauhaus AG. The brewery has borne the name Einbecker Brauhaus AG since 1967. The “home of good beers” is particularly proud of its Bockbier, because in addition to its own production of the well-known beer, the name “Bockbier” also comes from an Einbeck brewmaster. This brought the name in its original form to Munich and thus to the world. In addition to two seasonal bock beers, the brewery distributes three other bock beer varieties. The Einbeck brewery focuses on energy efficiency and regionality in its production: 100% of the malting barley used comes from fields in the immediate vicinity of Einbeck.
Initial situation
Einbecker Brauhaus AG plays a leading role in sustainability and energy efficiency. With the FlexBio wastewater treatment plant, they are once again taking a big step towards energy independence. The new wastewater pretreatment contributes to an increase in sustainability of the overall operation through energy recovery and CO2 reduction. Even in times of crisis and regardless of the time of day and weather conditions, the plant contributes to the security of energy supply. The Einbecker brewery in Lower Saxony is thus once again combining tradition with state-of-the-art brewing technology.
