At FlexBio Technologie GmbH, we see ourselves as a green tech company, but what does that mean?
Indeed, the term is not only meant to sound smart and modern, but also to represent our vision of the future. Green tech or green technology is the development or use of sustainable and innovative technologies. These should lead to a more sustainable economy overall and thus contribute to climate and environmental protection. Green tech companies and the use of their developments can, for example, ensure that fewer resources have to be used or less energy is consumed. In our case, the FlexBio wastewater treatment plants ensure that the companies produce their own biogas, consume less energy and treat the wastewater they already use (keyword: resource conservation). The water can then either be reused or discharged purified. The cleaning process ensures that no pollutants get into the wastewater and that is also sustainability.
The use of green technology is of enormous relevance, especially in the commercial and industrial segment, because industrial companies are among the largest emitters of greenhouse gases, which are known to be harmful to the climate. The industry around green tech is currently a growing sector. Not only machine industries belong to this field, but also artificial intelligence, which optimizes everyday work. In the field of agriculture, for example, this also includes precision farming. Here, IT and AI are used to analyze and predict the exact ground and weather data. This information allows farmers to use their fertilizer, but also their irrigation, more efficiently.
In order to survive in the future, the use of environmentally friendly measures is becoming increasingly important and essential. If you’d like to learn more about our vision and approach to the subject, feel free to stop by here as well. Our path to a sustainable future relates above all to the most important resource, water. But green tech should not be underestimated in other areas either.
